TREATMENT

LUMBAR MICRODISCECTOMY

The procedure is done to remove the slipped disc in lower back which presses the nerve causing pain in legs and numbness. This procedure helps to restore nerve function and relieves pain.

ANTERIOR CERVICAL DISCECTOMY

The procedure is done to remove slipped disc in the neck which presses the nerve causing pain in the upper limb. This procedure helps to restore nerve function and relieves pain in the upper limb.

MINIMALLY INVASIVE INTERNAL DECOMPRESSION OF THE LUMBAR SPINE

The procedure is done in case of lumbar canal stenosis to relieve pressure on spinal cord and spinal nerves in lower back and improves pain-free walking (neurogenic claudication improves).

ANTERIOR CERVICAL DISCECTOMY AND FUSION

The procedure is done to remove the slipped disc as well as stabilise neck bones and is done to relieve pain and weakness in the upper limb and helps to decrease neck pain disc.

ANTERIOR CERVICAL CORPECTOMY AND INTERBODY FUSION

The procedure is done when neck bones are degenerated and disc protrudes causing pressure on spinal cord and spinal nerves. This procedure helps to relieve pressure on the spinal cord and prevents further spinal cord damage. It improves the gait and relieves unsteadiness of the body.

ANTERIOR CERVICAL DISC REPLACEMENT

The procedure is done in younger patients with slipped disc and helps restore near normal neck function for patients in their younger age.

POSTERIOR CERVICAL LAMINECTOMY

The procedure is done in patients with multiple levels of disc protrusions in the neck causing neck pain and symptoms of cord compression done from back of neck.

POSTERIOR CERVICAL LATERAL MASS FIXATION AND FUSION

The procedure is done in patients with multiple levels of disc protrusions and compression of cord along with bony instability. Also can happen with traumatic fracture. This procedure helps to decompress the cord and stabilise the neck bones.

LUMBAR MICRODISCECTOMY

The procedure is done to remove the slipped disc in lower back which presses the nerve causing pain in legs and numbness. This procedure helps to restore nerve function and relieves pain.

CV JUNCTION DECOMPRESSION AND FUSION

The procedure is done in patients with foramen magnum pathology with compression of cord widening of foramen magnum. It removes pressure on cord and if unstable, stabilisation fusion is done with rod and screw, and screw graft.

C1-C2 FUSION WITH SUBLAMINAR WIRING

The procedure is done in patients with instability of first and second cervical bones, often seen in rheumatoid arthritis and tuberculosis. This procedure helps restore cord function and also stabilises the neck.

ANTERIOR THORACIC DECOMPRESSION AND FUSION

The procedure is done for chest level spine pathology like traumatic fracture or infection. This procedure helps to remove infected tissue or the broken fractured spine bone and restore alignment of chest part of the spinal column (thoracic) and spinal cord function.

LUMBAR INTERBODY FUSION

The procedure is done to restore lower back spinal column alignment by introducing pedicle screw fixation and cage bone graft to fuse the bone. This procedure helps to relieve pain and restore spinal cord and nerve function.

SCOLIOSIS CORRECTION AND FUSION

The procedure is done in case of when a long segment of spine is bent to one side and to restore a straight spine with near total spinal column alignment.

KYPHOSIS CORRECTION BY SUBTRACTION DISTRACTION OSTEOTOMY AND FUSION

The procedure is done in case of kyphosis that is bending of spine causing hunch back, common in fracture or infection. The procedure involves bringing the spine back to straight posture and stabilising by pedicle screw and rod.

KYPHOPLASTY / VERTEBROPLASTY

The procedure is done in case of vertebral body collapse causing pain. It involves filling vertebral body with bone paste to strengthen the vertebral body. This procedure helps prevent further collapse and alleviates pain.

PERCUTANEOUS THORACIC AND LUMBAR PEDICLE SCREW FIXATION AND STABILISATION

The procedure is done to fix the spine fracture by keyhole technique.
